Fox River Brewing Co – A Jewel in Oshkosh, Wisconsin

The Fox River Brewing Co (Fox River Brewing Co Website) is located on the shores of the Fox River in the quaint town of Oshkosh, WI. The view is amazing. My only regret was not being here in the summer to sit on their patio overlooking the Fox River. Everything from the service to the food was superb!

The weekend was graduation time for the University of Oshkosh and we were going to lunch after my son graduated. We made reservations in anticipation of a large crowd since the restaurant is close to the university and is well known in the area. We actually arrived at the restaurant about an hour before our scheduled reservation, but the kind hostess stated our table was ready. We explained that the rest of the party was behind us by about 45 minutes and we could wait at the bar (feeling bad for taking a table this early without our full party). She insisted it was fine and took us to our table. On the way we explained we were going to do a post for my blog and she said we could go in the brew room and take some pictures. We can’t even find words to describe how pleasant she was to us.

The table was a high top adorned with white tablecloths and set with white napkins and crystal water glasses. It was beautifully done! We ordered drinks and appetizers then sat back to enjoy our view. The staff were attentive and came by often to see if we need our drinks refreshed. When the remainder of our party arrived they ordered drinks and an appetizer. After the drinks and appetizer was delivered we ordered our lunches.

The food was amazing! Everything was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. My favorite was the Shepherd’s Pie! Oh my! Melt in your mouth delicious!

All in all we had an amazing experience at The Fox River Brewery Co. making my sons graduation even more special! Thank you Fox River Brewing Co!
